History
Founded in 1989 in Belleville, ON, Tal Trees Power Services built its reputation on engineering, building, and installing high voltage substations and pole lines. Tal Trees then began to offer its skills and experience to the renewable energy sector, in addition to industrial, commercial, institutional, and utility customers.
Joining Spark Power
Spark Power acquired Tal Trees in order to enter the Belleville region and offer a wide array of power line construction and maintenance services.
In 2017, eight linemen and technicians from Tal Trees made their way to Florida to assist with power recovery efforts after Hurricane Irma made landfall. “We’ve heard from partners that about 4.4 million homes and businesses – or 15 million people – were without electricity across Florida. We’re proud to offer our support” said Jason Sparaga, Co-Founder & Executive Board Chair to the Spark Power Group of Companies.
