ENVIRONMENT

Claire and Marie lead our Spark100 Environment Committee. They are dedicated to expanding our environmental commitments by implementing green energy solutions within our organization and educating employees about how they can participate in green energy initiatives.

2020 Environment Committee priorities:

  • Bring Bullfrog Power into the operations of Spark (i.e. green electricity, green natural gas, fuel offsets).
  • Promote education and events via internal platforms.
  • Provide electric vehicles for the fleet/electric vehicle policy.

COMMUNITY

Kim leads our Spark100 Community Committee. She is dedicated to supporting our employees and the communities in which they live and work, while helping charitable causes that are important to both our employees and the organization.

2020 Community Committee priorities:

  • Develop a donations program (1% EBITDA)
  • Further embed our communities into internal and external messaging.
  • Utilize Spark’s internal and external channels to share what our employees are doing to support the communities in which they live and work.

Diversity & Inclusion

Najlaa and John lead our Spark100 Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Together, they are ensuring a safe and inclusive workspace where everyone can bring their full selves to work and are working towards recruiting and attracting diversity throughout our workforce.


2020 Diversity & Inclusion Committee priorities:

  • Expand the Spark100 Diversity & Inclusion Committee to include broad representation from within the organization.
  • Identify a consulting partner to work with on Black Lives Matter initiatives.
  • Solidify and present short, medium and long-term Diversity & Inclusion roadmaps to the organization.

Health & Wellness

Scott leads our Spark100 Health & Wellness Committee. Through this role, he is encouraging employees – Spark’s “number one asset” – to prioritize their health and well-being, and give them the tools to get there.

2020 Health & Wellness Committee priorities:

  • Encourage participation in “Bullfrog Bootcamp” (short, equipment-free workouts) twice per week.
  • Develop and implement biking and step-counting tracking maps for all Spark employees to partake in.
  • Educate and raise awareness within the Spark community about mental health resources available to employees.
