Joe Mahoney

Joe Mahoney is Chief Operating Officer at Spark Power, where he oversees operational performance, project execution, and the delivery of electrical infrastructure services across the organization.
 
With nearly 30 years of experience in the electrical infrastructure industry, Joe brings extensive expertise in transmission, distribution, and substation operations across North America. Beginning his career as a journeyman lineman, he progressed through field leadership, operations management, and senior executive roles, developing a strong understanding of the industry at every level.
 

Throughout his career, Joe has led large-scale utility operations, expanded businesses into new markets, and built high-performing teams. His expertise includes operational strategy, project execution, estimating, project controls, workforce management, safety leadership, and customer relationship development.
 
Before joining Spark Power, Joe served as Executive Director at E-J Electric T&D, where he led the company's Transmission & Distribution division and supported its growth through geographic expansion and new market opportunities. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Aldridge Electric and M.J. Electric, overseeing complex utility infrastructure operations across the United States.

Shawn Mangan

Shawn Mangan is a Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy, Renewables at Spark Power. With more than 30 years of experience across renewable energy, power generation, and electrical infrastructure, he brings extensive expertise in business development, commercial strategy, and EPC project delivery. Shawn leads growth initiatives, strengthens strategic partnerships, and advances opportunities across utility-scale solar, energy storage, and renewable energy markets.

Adam Borowiecki, Executive Vice President, Major Projects

Adam Borowiecki is Executive Vice President, Major Projects at Spark Power, bringing more than 25 years of experience delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects across North America. He leads the company’s major projects business, overseeing the strategy, execution, and delivery of transmission and substation infrastructure for utility customers.

Nadia Fortino, Vice President of Human Resources

Nadia Fortino is the Vice President of Human Resources at Spark Power. With a solid background in Employee Relations and Performance Management, she developed and led the HR department for North and South America at Winoa North America. Nadia holds the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation in Canada and the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation in the United States.

Peter Rizos Senior Director, Health, Safety and Environment

Peter Rizos is the Senior Director, Health, Safety and Environment at Spark Power. He brings extensive experience leading safety programs, regulatory compliance, and environmental initiatives across complex, high-risk operations. Peter works closely with leadership and field teams to strengthen safety culture, ensure accountability, and support operational excellence across the organization.

Sam Delisio, Vice President of Sales, Renewables

Sam Delisio is a seasoned energy industry leader with over 15 years of experience driving commercial growth across the renewables sector. At Spark Power, he leads business development efforts focused on scaling solar, battery storage, and wind solutions across North America.

Paul Demarco, Director of Risk Compliance, and Legal

Paul Demarco is the Director of Risk, Compliance, and Legal at Spark Power, offering solutions-oriented legal advice to teams across the company. Before joining Spark Power, Paul practiced law, focusing on corporate mergers and acquisitions, business risk management, and commercial real estate. He holds a Juris Doctor from Western University and is a Barrister & Solicitor in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
